Synopsis
The Eastern Cape mountains in South Africa. As he does every year, Xolani, a lonely factory worker, participates with other men of his Xhosa community in initiating a dozen teenagers into manhood. One of the teenagers, a city boy from Johannesburg, discovers a closely guarded secret... Xolani's entire existence is then suddenly threatened.
