Metz 1959. Michel, a respectable, provincial solicitor, and his wife Hélène, who keeps herself busy with charity work and educating their son, form an exemplary couple.
They would make for a dull painting, if it weren't for the fact that Michel hides a dark secret: every weekend he disappears to a second home to become Mylène, under the watchful eye of Flavia, an experienced transvestite and former comrade from the war.
Under his influence, house becomes Villa Mimi, a rallying point for a small community of men who freely act out being women...
Winner of the Queen Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival 2014.
