The Empty Nest
Synopsis
Leonardo, a famous writer, is married to Martha. They have three children and form a fulfilled couple that makes them the envy of all their friends.
But when Julia, their eldest daughter, gets married and moves to a different city, Leonardo and Martha find themselves alone. Martha tries to overcome her frustrations by going back to university and leading an intense social life. Meanwhile, Leonardo takes refuge in his fantasies, to such a degree that he soon no longer manages to distinguish between his imaginary world and reality.
