Odette has ensured that her daughter’s wedding will be bliss: the caterer, setting, seating plan, guests, all of them lifelong friends – nothing has been left to chance. Mathilde’s special night will be unforgettable – that’s for sure.
It also happens to be a special night for the caterer, for it’s his first big job. He’s therefore set everything up so that the evening will be memorable. No need to worry, it will be! His two waiters are enthusiastic and willing, if a little new to the job. Music will be provided by a group more adept at playing hard rock than the MOR French tunes the evening requires. Everything is fine up until the moment when the waiters cautiously carry in the wedding cake. But from then on in, it’s major mayhem.
