Synopsis
Bruno, big-hearted tough guy, Jean, his childhood friend and Djamila, daughter of immigrants, all grew up on a housing estate. Djamila is married to Bruno, her handsome Frenchman. Jean is a cop. Bruno has just started a bus driving job, but his life goes into a spin when he's attacked by a gang of youths from a neighboring estate. One slash of a knife and Bruno's life and future are at stake. Despite Jean's friendship and Djamila's love, Bruno withdraws into himself, hanging out in the bar he'd go to when he was a kid and which has now become a meeting place for a right wing group. His desire to find his attacker becomes an obsession and risks destroying everything around him…
