Our dames live in Paris and, on the first day of the year 2000, they decide to set the record straight.
At 35, they've got beyond believing in Prince Charming. Their theatrical careers have stalled and their slim billfolds contain but a smile and a tear.
One of them, who works at the Concorde check-in counter, becomes a "seventh heaven switchgirl," and gives her girlfriends the chance to be in the right place at the right time. They'll perform the best comedy there is… love, for a private, very rewarding audience. Summary I got the idea for this film on the Concorde! One day I was flying alone, when a very, very chic lady asked if she could change places and sit next to me. With a flimsy excuse. She obviously didn’t find me rich enough, because she then decided to tell me about her career – which was flying the Concorde! Not to get to Paris or New York, but to meet millionaires. She said that she always earned the cost of her plane ticket.
Since I enjoy gossip and love tales, I realized she had a terrific story if I just embellished it a little. But without that lady, this film would never have been made.
