Focus: the Social Networks Jury

One hundred members all over the world

Another innovation of this 2nd edition: the Social Networks Jury. A genuine cobweb on a world scale. The one hundred film buffs who comprise this jury equally serve as so many ambassadors of French cinema abroad.

Alex Hermann, member of the Social Networks Jury, Germany: "I really like the idea very much of 100 people from all over the world meeting online, chatting and watching movies! I believe (and hope) that more and more content will travel faster to the WWW and your festival takes this into account! And that, even though you are 'pellicule' fanatics. French people, I've always had a thing for you guys!"
Elvire Duvelle-Charles, member of the Social Networks Jury, France: "When I discovered the first edition of last year I couldn't help but think "Oh, if only the festival had existed when I was an expatriate!" The distribution of French cinema abroad, although on the rise, remains nevertheless weak and difficult to see outside of big cities. is a true innovation enabling French cinema to do away with borders, and enable film buffs all over the world to savour a selection of French films. It's high time that such a festival exists, where exchanges and accessibility are at the heart of the action!"
