The filmmaker Cédric Klapisch will be in the Russian capital from November 4 through 14.
The filmmaker accepted a triple invitation from Unifrance to travel to Moscow to take part in:
• The presentation of his film Paris in a premiere screening just days prior to the film’s commercial release, distributed by Central Partnership.
• A master class at the VGIK–the world’s first Film School–as part of the On Set With French Cinema program.
• A press conference for the launch of the French Film Festival in Russia, organized in collaboration with the French Embassy in Moscow and Martell, to be held in December.
In addition to this busy program, Cédric Klapisch will attend meetings with Russian audiences to discuss two of his earlier films, L'Auberge espagnole (Euro Pudding, aka The Spanish Apartment), and Les Poupées Russes (The Russian Dolls), with both films presented in special 35mm cinema screenings. Klapisch will also take part in interviews with Muscovite and regional media representatives for his film Paris.
