Vienna International Film Festival selection

The 2007 Viennale opens tomorrow and runs until October 31, with a host of French
films included in the Official Selection.

Among French titles showcased at the event, we can mention Persepolis by Marjane
Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud, Her Name is Sabine by Sandrine Bonnaire, Capitaine Achab by Philippe Ramos, and All is Forgiven by Mia Hansen-Love, which was
partially shot in Vienna.

This year's line-up includes films by some of French cinema’s leading directors, such as
Claude Chabrol’s The Girl Cut in Two, Jacques Rivette’s Don't Touch the Axe, and Nicolas Philibert’s Retour en Normandie.

The festival is presenting a special program dedicated to the director Pascale Ferran, who will be in attendance to present her film Lady Chatterley.

Unifrance is handling travel arrangements for Pascal Bonitzer, Sandrine Bonnaire, Serge Bozon, Gérard Depardieu, and Mia Hansen-Love.
