SG Private Banking has signed a cultural sponsorship agreement with the Unifrance association to promote French films around the world.
SG Private Banking, the private wealth management arm of the Société Générale Group, has signed a sponsorship agreement with Unifrance, France's international film promotion body. Unifrance operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, through the Centre National de la Cinématographie, and benefits from support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2005, French films registered 73.6 million spectators worldwide, a rise of 49% compared to 2004.
SG Private Banking thus joins forces with Unifrance's cultural action in support of the international distribution of French film productions.
Unifrance President Margaret Menegoz made the following statement: "SG Private Banking serves a prestigious client base in over twenty countries. The company is therefore a first-rate partner to accompany us in our mission to promote the profile of French films in the international arena."
Pierre Mathé, Director of SG Private Banking declared: "We hold values of creation, innovation and professionalism in very high esteem in the artistic domain, as we do in the field of finance. We are proud to be able to participate alongside Unifrance in enhancing the international exposure of French films."
