For its 36th MyFrenchShort, and to coincide with the theatrical release of Sébastien Betbeder's The Incredible Snow Woman, Unifrance presents The Movie We Will Shoot in Greenland, by the same director. The film that can be viewed for free worldwide on YouTube until June 4, 2026.
In the short film The Movie We Will Shoot in Greenland, Sébastien Betbeder teams up with actors Thomas Blanchard and Thomas Scimeca to imagine a film shoot in Kullorsuaq, in the heart of Greenland, within a year. Together, they set about writing a screenplay, sketching out the basics of what might happen to Ole and Adam, the two Greenlandic friends first introduced in Inupiluk, without really knowing where their story will take them....
In three films, two shorts and a feature, Sébastien Betbeder explores both the Far North and the relationship between cinema and reality. Shifting between drama and comedy, fiction, and documentary, they form a surprising trilogy, of which The Movie We Will Shoot in Greenland would be, in a way, the second episode.
