In December, Unifrance will launch its first podcast series, entitled “Anatomy of a Scene.” Produced by Jeanne Boëzec, this five-part series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process involved in French films and TV series, through interviews focusing on seven films and three series.
Each episode, lasting twelve to fifteen minutes and presented in English, will feature professionals and artists from the sector, who will be invited to explore a theme or recount a memorable scene from a recent film or series, and share what that scene reveals about their profession, their perspective, or their experience.
The five episodes of the Anatomy of a Scene podcast:
- Screenwriters featuring Romane Bohringer for Tell Her I Love Her, and the duo Rebecca Zlotowski/Anne Berest for A Private Life
- Assistant directors featuring Valentin Rodriguez for Oussekine, and Célie Valdenaire for Bloody Milk
- Cinematographers featuring Nicolas Bolduc for The Count of Monte Cristo, and Hichame Alaouié for The Bureau
- Casting directors featuring Julie Allione for Wild Diamond, and Marlène Serour for The Worst Ones
- Production designers featuring Emmanuelle Duplay for Emilia Pérez, and Riton Dupire-Clément for Of Money and Blood
