The 10th ShorTO Film Market took place in Turin from November 23 to 25. Dedicated to short films within the broader context of Torino Film Industry (November 20 to 25), this is a rapidly growing market, led by Elena Ciofalo, director of the Italian Short Film Center.
Open to fiction, documentary, and animation projects, as well as XR with an Immersive Lounge TFI, ShorTO is an event that brings together Italian and European professionals.
This year, there was a focus on Lithuania, and pitch sessions such as Road to Euro Connection/Italy, You Only Pitch Twice, and Think Outside the Keyframe highlighted short film projects seeking co-producers.
Unifrance provided funding support allowing French professionals to participate in the market:
- Anne Berjon (Mondina Films)
- Léo Granger (Haïku Films)
- Nicolaï Iarochenko (Les Steppes Productions)
- Juliette Louchart (Fløw)
- Gaëtan Trigot (Pentacle Productions)
In partnership with the Cannes Short Film Corner (Focus SCRIPT), Unifrance also supported the participation of Chloé Wasp, for her documentary project Venus Carnivores.
