We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of Robert Cravenne, founder of Unifrance and our first General Manager.
Robert Cravenne remained at the helm of this association for close to thirty years, bringing his talent and commitment to the promotion of French films around the world.
Although retiring many years ago, he maintained regular contact with us, keeping us informed of his activities, and offering us precious advice.
Author of the book "Le Tour du monde du cinéma français," he was passionate and engaging, a leading ambassador of French cinema.
We are very grateful to him for having been a pioneer in the great challenge that the international market presents for our films, and we would like to offer his family our most sincere and heartfelt condolences.
