Meetings with the press, French artists, Latin American distributors, a conference and a debate...an update on Unifrance's activities at the Pantiero Club.
Thursday, May 23: Unifrance invited Latin American distributors to a lunch at the Pantiero Club. It was an occasion to maintain links with buyers in these territories, ever-loyal supporters of French cinema.
Kicking off at 3 p.m., a round table discussion was organized at the Pantiero Club on the theme of "Original music and film and television drama."
The conference was introduced by Jean-Pierre Neyrac (President of the CST) and Daniel Toscan du Plantier (President of Unifrance), and was led by Laurent Delmas (Chief Editor of "Synopsis").
The conference was held in the presence of: Martine Aujard (CNC – Cultural Operations), Olivier Bernard (SACEM), Bruno Bouteleux (Director of Funds for Original Music), Antoine Duhamel (Composer), Michel Fano (Composer), Claude Gaillard (SACEM), Caroline Huppert (Director – President of the SACD TV Commission), Pierre Javaux (Producer), Paul Lavergne (Editor), Serge Lepéron (Director, SRF), Stéphane Lerouge (Artistic Director of the Auxerre Festival), Jean-Paul Loublier (Sound Mixer), François Millet (author of a book on the subject of composers), Angélique and Jean-Claude Nachon (Composers) as well as Jacques Otmezguine (Director, Groupe 25 Images) and Béatrice Thiriet (Composer). The debate closed with a cocktail party organized by the CST at Club Unifrance.

Friday, May 24: A lunch was held for French artists and international press representatives.
At midday, Club Unifrance received the crews from six films along with members of the international press. Chantal Akerman came along to present her film "The Other Side," Delphine Gleize, to present "Carnages" and Christophe Ruggia, "Les Diables." Thomas Langmann took up the promotion of his production "Dead Weight", while Emanuele Crialese spoke about his film "Respiro" and Michel Vignaud spoke about his debut film, "Le Royaume Des Rapiats." The club also welcomed, among others, Anny Duperey, Karin Viard, Emma de Caunes, Martin Valente, Cris Campion, Christian Carion, Artus de Pengern, Yamina Benguigui and Olivier Sitruk.
