“The Lady and the Duke” conquers Spain

Eric Rohmer’s latest film, released in Spain Friday September 14 on a 29-print release by Vertigo, has earned more than 670,000 euros in 3 days, representing more than 22,000 admissions.

Presented at the Venice Film Festival as part of a special homage to Eric Rohmer, the film has set off on a promising international career. “The Lady and the Duke” was released in France on September 7 and has been so far sold to around 10 countries.
