The Trophée Unifrance, awarded at the Trophées du Film français 2025, this year honoured two films for their special aura and success in international cinemas : The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre De La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte (produced by Chapter 2 and Pathé Films, and sold by Pathé Films), and Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet (produced by Les Films Pelléas and Les Films de Pierre, and sold by mk2 films).
The directors Alexandre De La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, actors Patrick Mille and Julie De Bona, and producers Dimitri Rassam (Chapter 2), Marie Ange Luciani (Les Films de Pierre) et David Thion (Les Films Pelléas) were present at the ceremony to receive their trophies from Unifrance President Gilles Pélisson.
The Count of Monte Cristo has attracted more than 3.6 million spectators outside France to date, and its international releases continue into 2025. Anatomy of a Fall, in addition to winning the Palme d'Or and the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, has been seen by 5 million people outside France over the course of its career.
