At the end of September 2024, Adeline Monzier will leave her position as representative of Unifrance in the United States, a position she's held since 2013.
Anne Takahashi, who has been working part-time in the Unifrance US office since September 2023, will temporarily take over the reins of the mission until the end of 2024, to allow proper time to get organized for 2025. This will involve the preparation in particular of the Rendez-Vous With French Cinema in New York, the flagship event of French cinema on the East coast, organized in partnership with Film at Lincoln Center. The popular event will celebrate its 30th anniversary in March.
Unifrance expresses its gratitude to Adeline for the work accomplished during these 11 years.
With Villa Albertine, Adeline originated the Young French Cinema program, which allows first and second French feature films without US distribution to be circulated in universities and arthouse cinemas. Adeline will pursue her activities as a film consultant and will continue to develop bridges between the international market and the United States.
