Unifrance, in partnership with the Institut Français, is organizing an audiovisual event in Spain from June 9 through 12 this year, titled Francia está en pantalla, which will offer audiences preview screenings of eight films and a TV series held in the presence of a large number of artists.
Francia está en pantalla is above all a showcase for the general public featuring preview screenings of French films in Madrid and other cities across Spain, which will be followed by meetings with the actors and directors of the productions and the possibility of hosting masterclasses...
8 films will be screened in previews, prior to their release in theaters, along with one TV drama, prior to its release on Spanish TV. The opening film will be The Kitchen Brigade by Louis-Julien Petit (screened in the director's presence, along with lead actor Audrey Lamy), with the opening ceremony held on the Thursday evening, June 9, at the Institut Français. The two day-time screenings will take place at the Yelmo Ideal complex, while the TV film Touchées will be screened on Friday, June 10, at the Institut Français.
Other directors will also be present at the event, including Philippe de Chauveron, Thomas Kruithof, Samuel Tourneux, Anaïs Volpé, Jean-Gabriel Périot, Pascal Elbé and Alexandra Lamy.

A series of masterclasses and Q&As will be organized, according to the artists present, as well as screenings for school children on the Friday at the MK2 Palacio de Hielo (close to the Lycée Français).
A number of the films from the selection will also be shown in Seville at the MK2 Cinesur theater.
Finally, a professional component of the event will be held over 2 days in Madrid (June 9 and 10), with the participation of a delegation of around twenty French producers and sales agents (from the film and TV sectors), who will meet with Spanish professionals (including producers, distributors, and streaming platforms).
