French films were high on the awards' list of the 2022 edition of Visions du Réel, which ended on April 17. French projects awarded in the industry section of the festival were also not lacking.

Opening Scenes Awards
- Tënk Award (purchase of distribution rights for a short film and an editing residency at the Documentary Village of Lussas (France) for the filmmaker of the awarded film: Le Cercle vide by Stéphanie Roland
