With 8 awards, including the Annie for Best Short Subject, Best Indie Film, and Best Direction - Feature, French animation production was honored at the 48th Annie Awards, ceremony, which took place online on April 16.
The Hollywood equivalent of the European Emile Awards, each year since 1972, the Annie Awards have been celebrating the best of world animation, features and shorts, TV and cinema combined.
For the 2021 edition, many French films and artists featured in the nominations list, notably, for feature films, Wolfwalkers, a minority French coproduction via Folivari, and Calamity by Rémi Chayé.
