On August 31, Cédric Klapisch was in Mexico City for the launch of the 2017 Tour du cinéma français au Mexique, at which Back to Burgundy was the opening film. To coincide with this event, Klapisch gave a masterclass moderated by the Mexican filmmaker Francisco Athié, held at the IFAL Cinema.
