The 41st edition of the Hong Kong International Film Festival, which will take place April 11 through 25, 2017, will show many French films. Olivier Assayas will attend to present Personal Shopper during the French Night on April 21.
Olivier Assayas is currently preparing a quick tour through Asia. He will present Personal Shopper during the French Night of the 41st HKIFF, prior to the film's Hong Kong release. During the festival, the director will also give two masterclasses and present a special screening of Carlos.
Prior to this, Assayas, who is extremely popular in Asia, will also pass through Tokyo for the film's theatrical release in Japan. Then, after Hong Kong, he will travel to Bangkok to accompany the film's release in Thailand.
Personal Shopper is not the only French title to shine at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
