Jacques Audiard, Catherine Corsini, Julie Delpy, Claude Lelouch, and Jean-Paul Rappeneau will be in attendance in Toronto to present their films at the 40th edition of the TIFF, which will take place from September 10 through 20, 2015.
TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) director and CEO Piers Handling, along with the festival's artistic director Cameron Bailey, have just announced the first section of the 2015 festival lineup, which features five French films in the two high-profile categories of Special Presentations and Galas:
SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS
Dheepan by Jacques Audiard - Palme d'Or winner at Cannes in 2015 (starring Kalieaswari Srinivasan and Anthonythasan Jesuthasan)
Families by Jean-Paul Rappeneau (starring Mathieu Amalric and Marine Vacth)
Summertime by Catherine Corsini (starring Cécile de France and Izïa Higelin)
Un plus Une by Claude Lelouch (starring Jean Dujardin and Elza Zylbertsein)
GALAS
Lolo by Julie Delpy (starring Dany Boon, Julie Delpy, and Karin Viard)
Other French titles are expected to be announced in other festival sections over the next few days.
UniFrance films will be at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival to accompany film crew members presenting French films in the various festival selections, and, as is the tradition each year, will welcome sales agents representing French films at a booth hosted throughout the event.
