The British Film Institute - Distribution (BFI) is reissuing the crime classic by Louis Malle on February 7, 2014.
In an excellent initiative, the British Film Institute - Distribution is presenting, from February 7, a re-release of Elevator To The Gallows, the first feature-length movie by Louis Malle starring Jeanne Moreau and Maurice Ronet.
Blending elements of film noir and the French New Wave, the film is set to a now legendary jazz score by Miles Davis and features superb cinematography by Henri Decaë.
