Blue is the Warmest Color finds its niche at the awards preceding the Academy Awards, another good omen for the film.

La Vie d'Adèle French films were the recipients of three awards during the 39th ceremony of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, which took place on December 8.

was celebrated twice (yet again), first with Adèle Exarchopoulos, who received Best Actress with Cate Blanchett (for Blue Jasmine), along with the coveted Best Foreign-Language Film.

Ernest & Celestine was elected the Best Animation of the year.

Lastly, Julie Delpy received Best Screenplay (along with Richard Linklater and Ethan Hawke) pour Before Midnight.
