The 4th edition of the online French Film Festival will take place from January 17 through February 17, 2014.
Jean-Pierre Jeunet, whose film The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet is about to release worldwide, will be the President of the 2014 edition of MyFrenchFilmFestival.
As with past editions, ten French features and shorts, whose titles will be announced on December 3, will be selected for competition. Netsurfers from around the world are invited to vote for the films and to leave their comments on myfrenchfilmfestival.com. The festival (the films' website) will be available in 13 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.
Seven prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival (four for the features, three for the shorts): the Public Prize voted by online spectators, the Jury Prize (the jury is composed of foreign filmmakers, with Jean-Pierre Jeunet in the president's chair), the Numericable Social Networks Prize (awarded by 100 movie fans from around the world who have a strong presence on Facebook and Twitter), and the International Press Prize, awarded by 11 journalists from major international newspapers.
The juries made up of filmmakers and international journalists will meet in Paris during the festival to vote for the winning films.
The prizewinners will be shown on board Air France planes during a 6-month period.
All the latest about the next edition will be announced on December 3, 2013 during the press conference.
