Synopsis
Based on the best-seller by Frédéric Dard San Antonio, this is the tragi-comic story of a passionate friendship between Boris Lassef, a brilliant but unbearably tyrannical actor and director, and Léon Yvrard, Boris's right-hand man and confidant. At once indispensable slave and clever conspirator, Léon is in thrall of Boris. This terrifying duo cuts a swath not only through the french theatrical world, but also among the jet-set. It is nevertheless rocked by the appearance of Léon's sister-in-law Nadège, a tough little adolescent whose terrible cunning and determination enable her to out-maneuver Léon and marry the famous Borris.
