Synopsis
A remote building site in a swamp zone. Six seasonal workers: Old Emir with a mustache; stocky José who moans all the time; chubby Ugo, a bit of a blockhead; swarthy Emiliano, so calm, so slow; raw-boned Peruvic, always starving and afraid; tetchy Marko who exudes restrained power and aggressiveness. They live there, with no privacy, in the middle of nowhere. Dug up mud and earth on one side, murky canal water on the other. And morning, afternoon, and night, they live off fish soup, while talking to each other, with despair and delight, about recipes of greasy chips and stuffed pork balls. But this difficult situation may change because Marko has an idea. By going in together, they could buy a piglet that they could fatten up on the scraps and leftovers.

Tender Age, by Julien Gaspar-Oliveri
Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
