Synopsis
With the 2016 Olympic Games and Euro 2016 in France on the horizon, this project aims to showcase the careers of 45 leading sports figures from diverse backgrounds. These figures have left their mark on the history of French sport and come from former colonies, protectorates, or regions of France. At a time when some seek to condemn foreigners, we believe it is important to remember that these same “foreigners” have helped write the long history of sport in France and our shared victories.
