Synopsis
Early ‘70s. Baptiste is growing up with his two brothers in his parents’ butcher’s shop and his future seems all mapped out before him: one day he’ll take over the family business. But Baptiste has a different dream: he wants to be a comic book artist. A fan of Gotlib and an avid reader of Pilote at a time when it’s revolutionising the 9th art, he spends his days drawing and creating a magical little world with pen strokes and humour. The arrival of a new art teacher, who he secretly falls in love with, encourages him to believe in his gift: at the age of twelve and a half, anything is possible...
