Synopsis
Thomas Schaffner is a brilliant lawyer who believes that everyone has the right to a defense, even the worst of scoundrels. Acting on this principle, he takes on the case of Follet, a murderer who brutally killed a young woman. He wins the case, and Follet is released, but Thomas refuses to shake his hand, too disgusted by his client’s sadism… Offended, Follet decides to take it out on Thomas’s wife. The beginning of a terrible spiral…
