L'Ankou, l'enfant et les brigands
Synopsis
A widowed, bankrupt farmer is harassed by crooked creditors. Cornered, he steals a large sum of money from them to offer his daughter a future he can no longer guarantee himself. Knowing that the mob will retaliate, the farmer takes refuge in his beliefs and invokes the Ankou, the Servant of Death in Brittany, to offer him his life, in exchange for protection for his daughter.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
