Synopsis
Besides her work at the slaughterhouse, forty-year-old Martine has devoted all her life to her little brass band, in which she's a majorette with her eleven-year-old daughter, Anaïs. When she notices, to her deep disappointment, that the band no longer inspires Anaïs, Martine decides to do everything within her powers to maintain a sparkle in her daughter's eyes by attempting to participate in a big and prestigious parade, taking her troupe and Anaïs along with her on the road of disillusionment.
