Synopsis
It all begins when Adelaide (Micheline Presle), wife of Gerard (Fernand Gravet), enters into a weekend affair with young Achille (Gilbert Gil). This she does because her best friend Helene (Marie Dea) is conducting her own affair, and seems to be having a good time. Sadder, wiser, and a bit out of breath, Adelaide eventually returns to Gerard on Monday.
