Synopsis
A faithful Moslen, El Hadj, leading citizen of a village in Nigeria, falls in love with a young woman, and his second wife unable to bear the thought of third, plans to kill Satou. But she makes a mistake and kills the bridesmaid instead.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
