SXSW's animated short film section gave much room to French creation for it s 2021 edition: out of 12 films in competition, three were French. UniFrance brought together Julie Caty (director of "Normal"), Réza Riàhi ("Navozande, the Musician") and Mélanie Robert-Tourneur ("Hold Me Tight") for a round table talk on their films.
They evoke their inspirations, the different techniques used, as well as the international career of their work - all hosted by Céline Roustan, programmer for both Palm Springs International Film Fests (feature and short), the Dublin International Film Festival, Short of the Week and SXSW.

La section court-métrage d’animation de SXSW a fait la part belle à la création française pour son édition 2021 : sur 12 films en compétition, trois étaient français. UniFrance réunissaitt à cette occasion Julie Caty (réalisatrice de "Normal"), Réza Riàhi ("Navozande, le musicien") et Mélanie Robert-Tourneur ("Hold Me Tight") pour une table ronde autour de leurs films.

Ils y évoquent leurs inspirations, les différentes techniques utilisées, ainsi que la carrière internationale de leur œuvre - le tout animé par Céline Roustan, programmatrice pour les deux festivals de Palm Springs (le Festival international du court-métrage de Palm Springs et le Festival International du Film de Palm Springs), le Dublin International Film Festival, Short of the Week et SXSW.
