Companions of the Night
Synopsis
Olga, an unmarried mother caugth up in the toils of penitentiary and then becoming a prostitute, falls into the clutches of a pimp named Jo, when she meets paul, a decent fellow, who is in love with her. She has hoped of leading a normal existence, but it nit thus that the "milieu" lets the victims escape. Jo statrs by taking away her child, then compromise her in a murder: he seems about to soften and let Olga go free, but he then exacts a terrible revenge. She escapes death, but one of her friends fallsinto the trap set by the gangsters and Paul is badly wounded. Mad with rage, Olga takes justice into her own hands and kills the man who hounded her. She is arrested just as Paul is saved and beginning to hope that their luck has changed. Will human justice be blind?
