Synopsis
The story takes place nowadays in the countryside. Sixteen-year-old Karine arrives as an apprentice groom at a stable. In the village, she encounters a group of young people her age who are rehearsing a play. They invite her to join them, which she does. But Karine has a secret that she can't reveal: she is illiterate.
