Synopsis
A film company is shooting in a villagein Spain scenes from the operette "The belle de Cadix". They are looking for a young girl among the local gypsies to play the heroine, and they decide upon Pepa. But her sister Maria-Luisa, is hostile towards the strangers wishes to make her sister withdraw her promise to work for them, and calls upon her fiance Raphael to help her in this. He is an excellent guitarist who is himself soon engaged by the film company, and he thus has no intention of helping Maria-Luisa witrh her plans. She herself finally ends up by replacing her sister and playing in the film opposite the star Carlos in the marriage scenes before the king of the gypsies...
