Synopsis
Eighteen-year-old Laura, a student, leaves her husband after giving birth to a blind daughter and abandons her child to go from Tbilissi to Paris. Eighteen years later, her daughter Sophie, in the final stages of a terminal illness, wants to see her mother before her death.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
