Synopsis
The summer of 2009, I travel in a Tibetan region of China, Kham. Fate gives me the opportunity to attend a unique funeral ceremony, where the body of the deceased is offered as food to the vultures. I decide to film this event that seems for me necessary to live. Question my condition as a tourist, foreigner, finally human being. What I assist, calls images of such mythical and existential power that a deep link little by little attaches me to these men and to their age-old gestures.

Un film basé sur une histoire vraie, et raconté par le grand Christoph Waltz.
