When his mother dies, Thomas decides to free himself from the family that suffocates him and from the dead-end province where he lives. His aim has always to be become a singer, like in the musicals that he grew up with. With his guitar, his desire to conquer, and his illusions as his only luggage, he arrives in Paris.
