Synopsis
Ismael has come to France in the hope of making amends. An ex-prisoner, he left the United States for Paris, where he thinks he'll find peace and quiet. He lands in a devasted zone of a public housing project on the outskirts of Paris. He wanders alongside the beltway and, sometimes, tries to forget his demons in troubled and agitated sleep. The memories of his childhood come to haunt him while life in France seems to be more and more difficult, between contrition and abandonment.
