Synopsis
Versailles, on 1770. Charlotte, young Parisian woman, has just granted her favors to Louis XV to finance her salon. She assists the interview between the sovereign with the baron Fontanel, back from India accompanied by a small monkey. Deceived by the king, then humiliated by the obnoxious baron, Charlotte has to recover an avantage. And it is well known, revenge is a dish best savoured cold.
