1962. A couple of very elegant tourists, the charismatic Chester McFarland and his young wife Colette, arrives in Athens. At the Acropolis, they meet Rydal, a young American guide who speaks Greek, and who cons tourists. Seduced by Colette's beauty and impressed by Chester's wealth, Rydal readily accepts their dinner invitation. The McFarlands turn out to be less silky smooth than they appear: their refinement and luxurious lifestyle hides a very dark side.
