Synopsis
Ali, a cab driver in a small Algerian village, has been married for two years to Houria, a widow with two children. The couple have been unable to have a child of their own. Unbeknownst to Houria, Ali does a fertility test. If he's sterile, will he tell Houria - he's afraid that she'll no longer think of him as a man - and his father, who is waiting for him to have a son? Circumstances are against him and Ali is quickly faced with a difficult choice.
