Synopsis
Lila lives with her mother in a village in Corsica. A radiant, uncompromising, solitary young woman, she is at an age where she is beginning to reflect on questions about life, death, her origins, and her absent father. One day, the thought of running away from home crosses her mind. But that same day, she meets a man who is preparing to die.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets.
