Synopsis
The Belleville neigborhood in Paris. We're in a strange and comical quarter, full of paradoxes and, at times, illogical moments. It's a quarter where accents and encense from distant lands combine, where eyes meet without seeming to weave a shared narrative of daily life. In this setting, one fine day, a blind man begs while dreaming of sunshine. In this kind of daydream, he glimpses the face of a saving angel. The story, in the style of an African tale, is told to us by three buddies, barflies in a local bar.

Tender Age, by Julien Gaspar-Oliveri
Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
