Synopsis
Fifty-year-old Adolfo is a cab driver in Havana. Discouraged by daily life's difficulties, he begs Yemaya, the god of the oceans, to let him leave this country that he can no longer stand. His makeshift boat is ready to set sail for America, where some of his family has already emigrated. All that is left to do in order to leave is find a can-opener, which he searches for throughout the city. But his quest may indeed hold other surprises for him.
